When it comes to growing your Instagram, monetizing your Instagram or selling your product or service... you want to make sure you're doing ONE THING:

Understand the power of your bio.

Your Instagram bio is your 130 character social resume- and you have less than 7 secs to grab the attention of your ideal client. It PAINS ME when I see someone with BOMB content but their bio is mediocre.

Here’s a truth nugget:

If you’re bio is all about YOU and not about the person you serve - why the hell would they care to explore your content?

Here’s are the 4 secret sauces your bio needs:

1. State your title next to your name!

We forget that IG is a searchable platform & the title you out next to your name, comes up in the search query. Don’t believe me? Type in weight loss coach.

2.  State directly who you help immediately.

Why waste time? Let the person who finds your page know whether or not you can help them solves a problem. You typically see these in the format of an "I help ____" statement. You can check mine out for reference here.

3. Add a unique blurb about you!

If you have enough characters left, here’s your chance to talk about yourself. Include a unique hashtag you use, a fun fact, or a silly quirk.

If you have any big accomplishments you'd like to showcase or like pineapple on your pizza (guilty!) show off your uniqueness that other people have the opportunity to connect with!

4. Call to Action or (CTA) at the end!

Humans love guidance, tell them where they should head nextGot an awesome freebie? A new blog post or podcast episode? Or just launched a new YouTube video?
